An under stairs storage upgrade
We are proud to design, build and install fully-fitted furniture in any area of the home. By handcrafting bespoke furniture in our very own workshop, we can come up with storage solutions that work, regardless of how small or tight the original spaces may be.
An area that is often overlooked is underneath the stairs. This space may be utilised for housing the family’s outdoor wear, including coats and shoes. It may also be the chosen place to store the vacuum cleaner when not in use. Whatever you have under your stairs, keeping this area tidy can be a challenge if you do not have any under stairs storage cupboards available.

For this project, we were called in to upgrade the existing under stairs storage in this modern home. The original storage comprised of a single door, with two fixed panels. This was somewhat restrictive, with difficult-to-reach corners, and so our client wanted to make some changes to ensure they were getting the most out of the space available.
By working in collaboration with the client, we came up with a design that is not only stylish, but in keeping with the look and feel of the staircase. We decided to include two large pull-out drawers to neatly store shoes etc., and a door unit to accommodate those household essential items, such as the hoover and broom.
Our Clients Vision
To achieve the modern, simple design that our client was seeking, we used flat slab doors and drawers in a matt white finish, and elegant, round door knobs to finish.
Our client is thrilled with what our team has been able to achieve within the budget available. The space is now being fully utilised and the three separate storage compartments have transformed this previously restrictive space into a multi-space storage system.
