This large open-plan kitchen was completely reimagined, transitioning from a plain, modern handleless design to a more contemporary yet traditional style. The result is a kitchen that feels both refined and inviting, perfectly suited for a family home.

Working with the existing space, we introduced a sophisticated new look for the cabinetry. The doors and trims were changed to a shaker paneled style in a soft taupe colour, beautifully complemented by gold effect handles. To complete the classic feel, we used decorative cornice and a molded mantle, adding a layer of architectural detail that truly elevates the design.
Crafting a Central Focal Point
A central feature of this renovation was the creation of a stunning overmantle around the freestanding oven. We built a completely new structure with decorative moldings, flanked by shelving on either side. This bespoke feature not only frames the range cooker beautifully but also provides a focal point and a place for personal touches and decor.

Striking Worktops and Island Design
The original worktops were updated to a striking black marble-effect finish, providing a durable and elegant surface that perfectly contrasts the light taupe cabinetry. The large central island, with its waterfall edge and matching black marble, offers ample space for meal prep and serves as a social hub with its vibrant mix of black and orange bar stools, balancing modern aesthetics with practical family living.
